Fun with Felting: Make a Scarf

Felt Scarf Class

Instructor: MarySue French

You don't have to be an artist to make something great! Felting is limited only by your imagination. Once you've completed the class, you can use the technique to create longer or shorter scarves, table runners, placemats or trivets of all and sizes -- only limited by our imagination. Explore the magic of creating with felt.

In this class you will learn how to make felt with wool, soap, water and a bit of agitation. We will discuss the felting process and what materials will felt, how to lay out and shrink fibers and form a shape. You will end up with a reversible scarf that will be 3 to 3.5 feet long.
