Rows of eyelet separate chevrons of garter, seed, stockinette, moss, and reverse stockinette stitches, creating a landscape of patterns on this shawl and scarf. These reversible designs show off the beauty of handpainted yarns.
Size: After blocking, approximately 40" (102cm) deep. Top width may be adjusted with the cast off tension from 60" (152cm) up to 75" (190cm).
Shaped Scarf measures approximately 12" (30cm) deep and 28" (71cm) along side edges.
Shawl may be made in lace, fingering, sport, dk or worsted weight yarns.
Scarf is designed for fingering wt yarn.
1200 yards lace weight and size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
1075 yards fingering weight and size 6 (4mm) needles.
900 yards sport weight and size 8 (5mm) needles.
775 yards dk weight yarn and size 10 (6mm) needles.
700 yards worsted weight and size 10½ (6.5 or 7 mm) needles.
Shaped Scarf: 200 yds (183m) of fingering weight and size 6 (4mm) needles.
