Cabled Fiber Loves our Independent Dyers!

                    Round Mountain Fibers
Round Mountain Fibers is a boutique wholesale fiber-arts studio based in Brattleboro, Vermont, offering an exclusive and unique line of hand-dyed yarn inspired by nature. Cabled Fiber & Yarn carries their Aquatic Line (inspired by underwater creatures) and a new color arrives each monthly.

The August Aquatic  colorway is the Striped Shore Crab accompanied by the striking Shore Crab Green
The Striped Shore Crab is a small crab found on rocky and hard-mud shores of the west coast of North to Central America and in the western Pacific.  ypically, this crab will have a brown/purple or black carapace with green stripes.

Its carapace is square and can reach 4 to 5 cm in size. The claws are red/purple with a mottled and striped pattern on the upper surface, and whitish-grayish on the lower surface, while its legs are purple and green with a similar mottled appearance.  (Wikipedia)
Yup, that nails it.

                        Loves to Play

Mrs. Crosby is that spirit which lives inside us all.

She is our craving for adventure, the desire to see all the beauty this world has to offer. Through her, you can ride the rails of the Trans-Mongolian Express along an ancient tea caravan route from China to Russia, watch the ever changing hues upon the Arc de Triomphe at sunset in Paris, or swim with whale sharks off the coast of Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

Your only limit is your own imagination.

Come with us. Come on. Come Play!

Amazing colors from this independent dyer.  We carry her hand dyed Satchell yarn, a smooth single yarn in a fingering weight.  100% Superwash Merino
